Concord Post 21 played clean defense to shut out Weare Post 65, 4-0, on Wednesday at Saint Anselm’s College, giving Post 21 its third win in the last two days.

Concord (7-1) played error-free baseball, led by strong play in the field from Eric Sullivan and Zach Miles, to support winning pitcher Brian Nylen (five innings) before relievers Sean McDonough and Griffin Gilbert completed the shutout.

Miles and Adrian Kennedy each had an RBI to lead Post 21’s offense, while Jacob Knowles connected for a triple.

Taylor French and Matt Woodward recorded the only two hits for Post 65 (1-2), while Jake Cole played well in center field.

Gunner Hagstrom took the loss, allowing three earned runs in 3 innings. Brett Patnode pitched 2 innings of perfect relief for Weare.
