Voting for city councilors in Franklin will take place on Oct. 2. Franklin needs leaders who will advocate for all citizens and restore Franklin to the thriving community it once was. Franklin has had its current poor reputation for far too long.
Olivia Zink has proven over her past term that she is not willing to sit quietly while a small majority of the council continues to make poor decisions for Franklin. Olivia understands the logical and proven connection between strong schools and a thriving community. She is not afraid to make difficult choices and to vote for whatโs right for Franklinโs future.
Olivia grew up in Franklin, graduated from Franklin High School and is currently serving her first term as a city councilor. Olivia has been working as a community organizer in New Hampshire for the last 20 years. She is currently employed as the executive director of Open Democracy. She graduated from UNH with a bachelorโs degree in political science and a minor in sustainable living. Further, she earned her masterโs degree in community economic development from SNHU.
I have attended many city council meetings over the past year and have seen firsthand Oliviaโs hard work, dedication and commitment to the citizens of Franklin. I am grateful that Olivia is willing to use her education and work experience to make Franklin, her hometown, a better community. We cannot afford to lose her voice on this council. Make no mistake, Franklin needs Olivia Zink.
