The state’s largest display of carved pumpkins is expected at the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival in Laconia on Oct. 12 and 13.

Activities will be held Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m.

A tower of pumpkins will be set up along Main Street between the train station and the library.

Plus there will be displays of school children’s pumpkin and other pumpkin displays in the area.

There will also be a Zombie Walking, pumpkin carving, food and craft vendors, a 10K and 5K run/walk, live music and shows, a beer garden, hay rides, pumpkin bowling and lots more.

Don’t miss kids’ activities and the amusement midway rides.

New this year is the Jumpin’ Jack Car Show on Beacon Street on Saturday.

Leashed pets are welcome, too, so bring the whole family.
