I have had the distinct pleasure of getting to know four candidates for N.H. House of Representatives, Hillsborough Districts 2 and 39. I’d like to share a little about each of them and why I believe they’ve earned your vote on Election Day.
Rachel Cisto loved her job as a political reporter, using her platform to help people in many ways – interpreting complex legislation and explaining what changes made by the planning board meant to the average citizen.
Gary Evans, 40-plus year Weare resident and proud dad, believes in common-sense gun safety legislation. Assault weapons bans successfully passed in other states would help keep New Hampshire children and families safer.
Aaron Gill, a two-term Deering selectman, has watched representatives in Concord claim they’re cutting spending only to force towns to pick up the slack and skyrocket property taxes. As state representative, he will fight against this trickery.
Rebecca Mitchell, mother of two, including a son who participates in the Weare area Special Olympics, fights for those with disabilities in her capacity as the vice president of the N.H. Down Syndrome Association and on the N.H. State Advisory Committee on the Education of Students with Disabilities.
Vote for the ticket offering fresh, new ideas and perspectives and greater diversity than their opponents.
Vote for the ticket that will best represent Weare, Deering and Goffstown.
