On Nov. 6, please join me in supporting Ken Wells and David Karrick for Merrimack Districts 1 and 25 as state representatives, and Mason Donovan as state senator for Senate District 7.

Ken, a retired teacher, David, a former representative, and Mason, a successful businessman, all understand that education funding is crucial to retain our youthful population. For too long, the state has reneged on obligations to our schools, downshifting costs to our towns. In two years of complete Republican control, we witnessed the Legislature give $100 million in tax breaks to a handful of rich corporations instead of sending the money back to our towns. Rep. Natalie Wells and Sen. Harold French both supported this giant giveaway when the real problem for businesses is the lack of trained workers to fill existing employment opportunities. Again, education and training are the answer. We can no longer afford to shortchange our students, and we sure could use a break in our property taxes.

Natalie Wells and Harold French also denied health care to thousands of families when they voted against the bipartisan Medicaid expansion.

They represent what is wrong with the extreme fringe of the Republican Party, taking from us all and giving to the 1 percent. This is socialism – for the very rich.

Ken Wells, David Karrick and Mason Donovan, unlike their opponents, will represent all of us, not a handful of rich, out-of-state donors.

Join me in voting for all three on Nov. 6.
