Last month, we attended the Warner candidates night coordinated by the N.H. League of Women Voters. After hearing from all of the candidates, we are more committed than ever to vote for those representing the Democratic Party. They support: quality public education and oppose school vouchers; treatment for substance abuse; medical and family leave; women’s reproductive health; climate action and renewable energy; health care for all and overturning N.H. voter suppression laws.
With the Executive Council, governor’s office and both houses of government having Republican majorities, it’s time to have a more balanced union so that meaningful debate on critical issues can take place. By voting for responsible and accountable democratic leadership, that balance of views and healthy debate can take place.
