The ability to not only listen to constituents but actually hear them is a rare and valuable skill in politics. That’s why voters in state Senate District 15 – which comprises the communities of Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton and Warner – are lucky to have Sen. Dan Feltes of Concord.
We encourage all voters in the district to give him their vote.
As an emerging leader in the state Democratic Party, Feltes is adept at fighting for the party’s priorities – paid family and medical leave insurance; a budget that prioritizes investments in public education and infrastructure; job training; clean energy; and assuring that all residents of the state have access to health care. But he is also a bipartisan force for district-specific issues that have a very real and immediate effect on the people he represents.
Feltes has proven to be a man of principle and character, and has distinguished himself with his depth of understanding on all issues, great and small.
While we disagree with Pamela Ean, the Republican challenger in District 15, on many issues, we have been impressed with her passion and thoughtfulness. We are certain that her dedication to the state and its direction will not wane after Nov. 6, regardless of the election’s outcome.
In Feltes, Senate District 15 has a strong, compassionate and effective voice at the State House. He has earned another term.
