Kearsarge Regional Middle School students’ artwork will be on display at Whipple Hall in New London through the end of January.

Students completed individual projects based on an assigned theme, with sixth-grade students focusing on watercolor landscapes and seventh-grade students worked on enlarged comics as part of their ongoing study of scale. Eighth-grade students are studying 20th-century art history, so their projects were heavily reminiscent of the work of Andy Warhol and the Pop Art movement.

Participating students include sixth-graders Mackenzie Smith, Gabrielle Lamb, Kira Gauntt, Ben Monroe, Carly Grant, Avery Green, Owen Blood, Molly VanVranken, Calvin Smith, Anna-Maria Bologna, Shea Curley, Everett Ensign, Camden Blasingame, Hannah Priest and Victoria Cloutier; seventh-graders Odin Gosselin, Ben Greenwood, Colin Croto, Chloe Ogmundson, Derek Locke, Gia Crandall, Ariana Stoneking, Madison Sliter, Bristol Messer, Maya Wormald, Sarah Anderson, Gretchen Bennett and Kylie Labelle; and eighth-graders Libby Walker, Sabian Griffin, Peter Crowell, Amanda Lyons, Jane Anderson, Kaitlyn Blaisdell, Kathy Decosta, Nicole Poltack, Maggie Ellison, Shelby Hager and Amber Houle.
