Thank you, Katy Burns. Your column regarding the president’s conduct in France (Sunday Monitor Forum, Nov. 18) is eloquent and captures what so many Americans are feeling. I don’t understand why more people can’t or won’t see what is right before their eyes. Donald Trump’s voters are pleased with the current economy, judicial appointments and other policy positions. They may share some of his anger and frustration. None of that excuses his rude and callous behavior that diminishes the presidency and fails to show respect for longtime allies. Thank you for saying what needs to be said.
