On Saturday, the Beech Hill School held its annual Gingerbread House Decorating Benefit. Each year, the students at BHS assemble gingerbread houses (purchased from Crust and Crumb Bakery) and transform their community space into a holiday wonderland in preparation for the decorating event. Students also volunteer at the benefit to assist with set-up, candy distribution, and clean-up. The proceeds of this year’s event were donated to the Hopkinton Historical Society who worked with the school’s fifth graders earlier in the year as they studied community.
