Nonstop service from Manchester’s airport to Chicago will begin next summer, according to officials.
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport announced the new service to O’Hare International Airport on American Airlines, to begin June 6.
American service to O’Hare will initially be offered twice daily on two class CRJ-700 aircraft which consists of 9 seats in first class and 56 seats in business/economy seats. Flights will leave Manchester at 7:20 a.m. and 3:56 p.m. and return from Chicago at 12:01 p.m. and 6:46 p.m.
Seats will be available for sale beginning Monday, Dec. 17.
American is one of four passenger airlines that serves Manchester, along with Delta, United and Southwest. Slightly more than half of all passengers at Manchester fly on Southwest.
