There is no doubt that the action of globalists and internationalists has prompted the rise of what many on the left deplore, “nationalism.”

There is no relationship between “white nationalism” and nationalism no matter the alleged equivalence that Democrats and progressives hyperbolize to gain political advantage over others.

To live in a stable society and country, we need national borders, controlled immigration and multicultural cohesion, a.k.a. the “melting pot,” the foundation of our republic since the end of the 18th century.

Globalists and internationalists support open borders and push “diversity” and “multiculturalism” as tools that divide populations.

Without cultural cohesion, E pluribus unum becomes Ex uno plures with cultural enclaves all over the country becoming more important (especially to politicians) than the sovereignty and unity of the country as a whole. United we stand, divided we fall means something.

That is not to say that people should not celebrate their heritage and culture, but America is a country in which many diverse cultures exist, co-exist and find common ground as “Americans.” That is “nationalism,” and it is not a stain on our country but offers people of all cultures an opportunity to become Americans and enjoy the prosperity and liberty our ancestors started and we perpetuate.

Internationalism promotes a more divisive approach where citizens gain their identity from race and ethnicity with government creating policies to ensure the recognition of those differences in place of the melting pot.

That approach destroys national identity in favor of individuals only caring about their own particular cultural group.
