Concord

Richard LaFlame was recently initiated into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Robert Long is among the 265 students recently honored as University Scholars at Susquehanna University.

Holly Dube, a first-year student enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, will receive a $3000 Pine Tree College Grant and a $4,000 President’s Academic Scholarship.

Robert Wolfe (or Mr. Bob as the families in Concord know him) received the Citizen of The Year award from the N.H. State Grange at the recent state banquet and awards night. Bob is involved heavily with assisting the New American families in Concord and help many of the youth participate in sports and other activities in several different ways.

Hopkinton

Hannah Durant received her white coat in a ceremony marking their symbolic entrance into the medical field in a ceremony at the Merill Auditorium in Portland, Maine, on Sept. 22.

Carrie Williams was awarded the New Hampshire PTA Volunteer of the Year award for her service on the Hopkinton Parent Teacher Association. The award was presented at the N.H. PTA annual meeting on Nov. 17 in North Conway. Williams served as vice president of the Hopkinton PTA for four years. The Volunteer of the Year award recognizes those members who exemplify PTA mission and values, demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and who model integrity, teamwork, and an outstanding commitment to their PTA, school and community.

Loudon

Craig Chalifour recently received a bachelor’s degree in business usiness from Saint Anselm College.

Cassidy Considine, a Junior at Merrimack Valley High School of Loudon will be a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, Mass., on June 23-25, 2019. The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields.
