The Backpack Program at Friends of Forgotten Children is nearing the end of its second year of providing needed nutritious food for the weekend for needy children in the Merrimack Valley School District. The program began in March of 2017 with 30 children in Penacook and thanks to these generous grants and donations, children are being serviced in Boscawen, Salisbury and Webster, now totaling 77.
