I am not particularly in favor of Donald Trump’s border wall, but I am opposed to the cost of the stalemate the argument is making. To my mind, the solution is simple. One would suppose that, with a wall, there would be less need for border patrol agents. So, build the wall and cut the number of border patrol agents. It seems to me that this would be a net-zero effect with both sides winning. Let’s please get on with governing and stop arguing.
