Letter: Champlin is a man of his word

It is my privilege to share my story and endorsement for Byron Champlin, currently Ward 4 councilor and running for the Concord city council.

As Byron’s campaign flier highlights his extensive service and welcomed accomplishments, I wanted to offer up my personal conviction.

We may be tempted to lump politicians into party rhetoric but that simply does not apply to Byron. Though accomplished, he is a man of his word. His personable style and “can do” attitude have served my concerns well.

In short, he listened, really listened, and then acted on our behalf. Today transparency is a buzz word. I say look deeper at Byron Champlin’s efforts, and you’ll be as proud as I am to support him.
