Students at JSRHS tried their hand at making Jiaozi (Chinese dumplings) in celebration of Chinese Spring Festival Eve, the last day of 2018 Chinese lunar calendar, with Chinese Exchange Teacher Guanboa Zhang on Feb. 4.
Guanboa shared with students that on this day in China, about 0.8 billion Chinese people would be watching the Chinese Spring Festival Gala after eating Jiaozi. Various student language groups had the opportunity to make dumplings with Guanboa, as well as any student who had any free time in their schedule.
