The day after the election and finding Donald Trump had won, we were amazed and pretty happy. Many others were not, but that is to be expected if your candidate loses. Then, most often we move on. However, this was different. That day, before the president-elect had a chance to do anything, began an overt effort to take him down. And, this was not just the Democrats. The Never Trumpers were vocal and could not stand the fact he won.

Many of the โ€œnewsโ€ channels began a campaign to take him down at any cost, ignoring the welfare of our people. It was as if the political establishment resented the fact that an outsider had won, and ignored why. It happened because a great piece of the American people no longer trusted the government to truly make decisions for their welfare. They felt, in part, that people had been in Congress for so long that they now represented themselves and not their constituency. The political establishment had to blame someone else.

My point is that the war against Trump is not based on what he has done or might do. It is based on a resentment against the man making anything he does unacceptable. It doesnโ€™t look honest, and it is not honest. If only his adversaries had waited until he did something. Instead, the day after the election, they broadcast that they were going to take him down.

Who can really believe that their arguments are sincere?
