■“Sweets with Steve” will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. School Superintendent Steve Chamberlin will be doing a presentation on the 2019 school budget. This will be held in the Hopkinton Town Library Community Room.

■The Hopkinton Recreation Department is hiring camp and pond staff for the 2019 season. Job descriptions are online at hopkintonrec.com or you can call 746-8263.

■Registration for the 2019-20 school year: For children who will be 3 years old and 4 years old on or before Sept. 30 are eligible to attend preschool at the Harold Martin School. Preschool is a tuition-based program and enrollment is filled by lottery. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30 are eligible to attend kindergarten at the Harold Martin School. Children who will be 6 years old on or before Sept. 30 are eligible to attend first grade at the Harold Martin School. ■Senior lunch will be held on Wednesday at noon at the Slusser Senior Center. There’s a suggested donation of $4.

■Stay ‘N’ Play Cafe takes place this Thursday and March 21 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A time for parents and children to play! Coffee, tea and hot cocoa provided. Come in out of the cold and have fun at the library! For all ages. This program will take place in the Community Room.

■Enjoy “The Listening Walk” (by Paul Showers/illustrated by Aliki) on the path behind the Slusser Center and playground. Walk in boots or snow shoes.

■Concord Regional VNA is holding a Senior Health Clinic at Slusser Senior Center on March 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Park Avenue Apartments on March 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All Senior Health Clinic services are provided for a suggested donation of $10, however, services are provided regardless of a person’s ability to pay.
