Hopkinton will vote on the next seat for its school board on March 12, and I am writing to voice my support for Norm Goupil.
As president of the Hopkinton Lacrosse Club, I have had the opportunity to get to know Norm over the last few years, as a parent and a coach, and I believe he will be an outstanding addition to the Hopkinton School Board.
Norm has lived in Hopkinton for 13 years, and he saw lacrosse as a great way to get involved with his community. He has dedicated countless hours to coaching, and along the way he has spent an incredible amount of time ensuring that the kids have fun, are learning and are being the best lacrosse players they can be. He is a terrific asset for our coaching program.
Beyond this, I have watched Norm be a thoughtful observer of our schools. With three kids in the Hopkinton schools, he is deeply invested in the success of our school district and its impact on our children and their future. I know he will bring the same steadfast and balanced dedication, aptitude and enthusiasm to the school board that he has to coaching, and I believe that he will be a true asset in this role.
I look forward to seeing Norm continue to improve our town and its best asset, our schools. Please join me in voting for Norm on March 12.
