The Granite State has a special role in politics and inspires civic engagement. This Saturday, at 9 a.m., in the Hopkinton Middle High School gym, a $9.7 million school district facilities bond necessitates all voters to attend to pass it by the required two-thirds vote.
Listening to your neighbors debate for an hour, and casting a paper ballot into a wooden box, requires more commitment to place and civility than most political endeavors. Supporting the schools, the fabric of our town, our children and our future is bringing folks of all ages, status, party and neighborhoods together.
Please show up at all costs. Take your essential part in this vote at this critical juncture to buoy the long-term preservation of our most impactful and successful institution for education. Food and free child care available.
