For the 20 years I have lived in town, I have enjoyed giving back through volunteering and participating in community activities, including the Friends of the Library and the town’s capital improvement committee.
With my background in administration and government relations, and an MBA in database training, I look forward to leading the town clerk’s office through the important upgrades that need to happen so that residents can renew registrations online and use credit cards for their transactions. There are also opportunities for more efficient processes “behind the scenes” that residents don’t see, but are vitally important to keeping up with changing technology.
I would like the town clerk’s office to take a much more active role in outreach to our community. I am a firm believer that the more information residents have access to, the more they will participate in the public processes that benefit the community.
I look forward to providing excellent, compassionate customer service and fair and accessible elections to the residents of Hopkinton. It is with the utmost respect to the people and institutions of this town that I ask for your vote for town clerk/tax collector on March 12.
