As citizens, we depend upon our town moderator to carry out the high standard of fairness we expect from our leaders.
Town meeting and open elections represent the foundation of our democracy. Having a moderator with the skills to run open, transparent and fair meetings and elections is critical to successful town governance.
I am ready for the job.
As an educator with 28 years of teaching and building- and district-level administrative experience, town moderator is a perfect role for my proven skills, expertise and interests. Further, this role would allow me to fairly serve others while remaining publicly neutral. To me, these are critical attributes of a high-quality moderator.
I ask for your vote on March 12. The polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Webster Town Hall. Remember to bring your ID and that voting takes about 5 minutes of your time. Every vote counts.
