A fire in Concord early Tuesday afternoon broke out in the finished rear porch of a Foster Street home but nobody was injured, Concord fire Chief Dan Andrus said.
Crews from Concord and Bow responded to the call about 1:42 p.m. Andrus said a fire was seen emitting from back of the two-and-a-half story duplex at 14 Foster St., just across North State Street from Kimball Park.
The fire destroyed a section of the finished porch in the back of the house, but it did not extend much farther into the home. Andrus said a total of six people live in the two-family home. The home is still in liveable condition and nobody was displaced.
Andrus said the fire was quickly brought under control in a few minutes. The cityโs fire prevention bureau is investigating the cause.
The duplex, which includes the address of 12 and 14 Foster St., was built in 2011 and is owned by Raymond Dilucci, according to Concord assessing records.
