Murray Farms is gearing up for its 101st summer from when it began in 1918 as a dairy farm.

The farm’s third generation moved their attention to poultry as a chick hatchery and then added the greenhouse in 1964.

Scott Murray of Murray Farms on River Road in Penacook is the fifth-generation owner of the farm.

The farm will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day starting May 1.
