Police in Sutton are asking people in the area to keep an eye out for anything “out of the ordinary or suspicious” after two children were reportedly approached by a stranger last week.
Police say a boy in Claremont was at the end of his driveway in the evening last Thursday when a black Dodge Dart pulled up and the driver offered the boy money to get into the car.
The next night in Sutton, a man with white hair and wearing glasses reportedly approached a girl at the end of her driveway, according to police. A boy was also with her, and the man sped away in “a shiny black sedan” – possibly a Dodge Dart – when it was seen by an adult in the area.
Sutton police say the car has New Hampshire license plates and urged in a Facebook post to the public to “be vigilant and talk to your kids about stranger danger.”
