The Hawks were able to take advantage of fast breaks and broken situations to come away with a win in a rematch of last year’s championship contenders.

Coach’s quote: “We did a good job of not only keeping our composure and sticking to the game plan, but also adapting to what we saw on the field. Laconia played a great game and we had to respond in kind. Our faceoff and groundball play proved key. We were also able to stay out of the penalty box more than them which helped us create some nice extra man scoring opportunities.” – Hopkinton’s Deacon Blue
