I bought a copy of the Mueller Report, assuming it would be a long time before it became a movie. My take is that it took so much time to do this investigation because there were so many meetings and associations between people in the Trump orbit and people with Russian connections, so the possibility of foul play was obvious. But these associations did not appear to be much more than politically motivated people trying to get a piece of the action. Many of these meetings appear to be related to Trump people trying to do their job without the help of the “professional Republicans.” So it took too many people too long for too much money to conclude there was no foul play between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
