■Franklin Savings Bank celebrates its 150th year of serving Franklin and several communities beyond. In partnership with Millennium Running, there will be a 5K race on June 29. The professionally timed race starts with 8 a.m. registration at Paul Smith Elementary School, and the race starts at 9 a.m. All proceeds will be donated to the Veterans Memorial Recreation Ski Area in Franklin. Visit fsbnh.bank/150th to learn more about this whole-day celebration, which includes Market Day in downtown Franklin from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Highland Mountain Bike Park Pump Track at Marceau Park and four live bands that will perform at Odell Park from 3 to 9 p.m. A great day for the whole family.

■Choose Franklin meets Thursday at City Hall at 8 a.m. There will be networking from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and an update on the latest progress for Mill City Park from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Light refreshments are offered.

■The Franklin Historical Society meets Thursday at Webster Place at 7 p.m. This month’s presentation is “N.H. Historical Markers” with guest speaker Michael Bruno, author and expert on the subject. Consider becoming a member for $10 per year and receive regular updates on activities and programs. Call 934-2228 with questions.

■The Franklin Outing Club meets Saturday at 9 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Ski Area on Flaghole Road.

■Enjoy “Tea in the Garden” Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Franklin VNA garden, 75 Chestnut St. Relax with tea and treats, both sweet and savory, set in the garden amid the trees and music. Silent auction includes a trip to a spa, wine and chocolate baskets. Tickets are $25 each or $40 for a pair. Call 934-3454.

■An American Sign Language interpreter will be in attendance to sign this year’s Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Franklin’s Flower Ceremony today at 10 a.m. This annual service celebrates beauty, human uniqueness, diversity and community for which everyone is asked to bring a flower to place in a shared vase. The flowers are blessed by the minister and the congregation and then redistributed so that everyone brings home a different flower than the one they brought. A social hour follows the service. All are welcome.

■The Three Rivers Republican Committee’s speak will be Beth Gaby, a pro-life leader in the Concord area on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Franklin Pizza Chef, 418 N. Main St.

■City Council meets Monday at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

■The Zoning Board meets Wednesday at City Hall at 7 p.m.
