Letter: As a city councilor, Hatfield will focus on solutions

As a resident of Ward 4, I will be proudly voting for Meredith Hatfield in the special city council election on June 4.

As an energy expert and an attorney, Meredith will bring valuable expertise and perspective to the city council as it grapples with a number of important issues, including encouraging renewable energy and smart development.

As someone who has had the pleasure of working with Meredith over the years, I know she’s smart, compassionate and willing to listen to all sides of an issue. She will focus not on winning arguments but on finding solutions that will move the city of Concord forward.

I hope my neighbors in Ward 4 will join me in voting for Meredith Hatfield to serve as our city councilor.
