Our congressional representatives need to express their ardent support for the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement and get House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to bring the USMCA treaty to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives now. This treaty replaces the North American Free Trade Agreement, which is outdated and gives an unfair advantage to foreign workers.
The Democrats are always talking about bipartisan politics and seeking unity. Well, now is the time to get behind the USMCA. It helps American workers compete more fairly with foreign workers. Both Democrats and Republicans need to support our workers and eliminate an unfair advantage they are now living with.
Rep. Annie Kuster, overcome your fear of Speaker Pelosi and be a voice for the working people of the 2nd Congressional District. Tell Speaker Pelosi to bring this legislation to the floor of the House and give the necessary relief to our working people.
Rep. Chris Pappas, you need to do the same and support Kuster in this effort.
Democrats need to remember that they lost the presidential election because they paid lip service to working people and did nothing to help them prosper. Now is the time to put workers ahead of politics and give a win to workers.
