In answer to Bradley L. Stone’s June 4 letter on the Affordable Care Act, I urge everyone to get informed on the facts about Obamacare. Two good places to look are the Kaiser Family Foundation website (kff.org) and obamacarefacts.com.

Folks, there’s nothing like the facts. And one fact is that in their desire to repeal Obamacare, which has been shelved until after the 2020 elections (could that be because people like their health insurance that covers pre-existing conditions for all?), the GOP has not come up with a plan to provide health insurance to the American people.

Destruction of a safety net isn’t wise when there is no other safety net below.
