I recently witnessed a frightening case of road rage caused by a group of cyclists taking up way too much of the travel lane on a Loudon secondary road. A following motorist was blocked and unable to pass safely. Predictably, bad behavior and gestures by both cyclists and motorist ensued.
Come on, fellow cyclists! We need to at least meet motorists halfway to dispel some nasty images that we have helped to foster. Make “Share the Road” more than just a bumper slogan. Keep to the right, obey rules of the road and make the roads safer for all of us.
