How about this for a radical idea? Why don’t the multitudinous Democratic candidates for president show their statesmanship, gather, confer, compromise and pick one candidate? Will the chosen candidate agree to run for only one term? Further, how about the chosen candidate agrees to reach across the aisle and pick a Republican to be the vice presidential nominee on the Democratic ticket, and he or she also agrees to run for only one term? Would the motto of the mixed ticket, “Heal America,” sell? Too radical and too much common sense of an idea?
