A Concord man was found stabbed to death in his home in the Crutchfield Building on Pitman Street on Friday, and authorities are searching for a person of interest believed to be in the Methuen, Mass., area.

Police are looking for Joseph King Hanright, 29, in connection with the death of Marshall John Villeneuve, 64, of Concord.

Hanright was seen on surveillance footage and his picture was shared by authorities Saturday as police searched for him. Police said he was driving a blue 2012 Mazda 3 sedan with New Hampshire license plate No. 4055307.

An autopsy Saturday by New Hampshire Associate Medical Examiner Christine James determined the cause of Villeneuve’s death was multiple stab wounds and the manner of death was homicide.

Anyone with information on Hanright’s whereabouts is asked to contact Concord Police Lt. Sean Ford at 603-225-8600, Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100 or local law enforcement.
