Concord
A Boscawen woman who went missing Wednesday was found dead in Concord on Friday.
Brooke Bucknam, 28, was last seen in downtown Concord on Wednesday.
On Friday about 4 p.m., police responded to the parking area of Marjory Swope Park after Bucknam’s car was reportedly seen there.
Police dogs were brought in to help the search, and Bucknam was found deceased in the woods “not far from her vehicle,” Concord Police Lt. Sean Ford said.
Ford said the case is being investigated as an untimely death and there is no suspicion of foul play.
“Our thoughts go out to her family,” he said.
Concord and State Police were assisted by the Fish and Game Department as well as the Concord Fire Department.
