A Belmont man is accused of holding another man at gunpoint in a vehicle Thursday night on Zion Hill Road in Northfield.
Dylan Corgatelli, 18, faces felony charges of armed robbery and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident.
Shortly after 6 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery inย the area of 197 Zion Hill Road.ย The victim told police he was held at gunpoint by Corgatelli, who pointed the gun at the manโs chest. At the same time, a male juvenile, who was hiding under a blanket in the trunk, jumped up and yelled, โYouโreย getting robbed (expletive),โ according to a police affidavit filed byย Northfield Police Chief John Raffaely.
The juvenile also had what appeared to be a gun and placed it on the back of the victimโs head, Raffaely wrote.ย Police later determined both firearms were BB guns.
The victim said he struggled with the juvenile to push the gun away. Outside the vehicle, the struggle continued with Corgatelli chasing the victim behind the residence, the affidavit says.
The two suspects ultimately took off in the vehicle.
Police later found Corgatelli hiding in a back bedroom at another residence in the same neighborhood. Theย juvenile was located at the crime scene at 197 Zion Hill Road, and police have brought a case against him in juvenile court.
Corgatelli was scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord.ย
