Regarding Vintage Views (Sunday Monitor Your Life, Aug. 11), another tidbit concerning the history of St. John the Evangelist Church. I was told that due to a large attendance from people in “Suncook” that a sister church was built in Allenstown and aptly called St. John the Baptist. It was dedicated in 1873.
