The Weare Middle School and Center Woods Upper Elementary School welcome new teachers for the 2019-20 school year.

Teaching music is Serena Gorham. Gorham is a recent graduate of Plymouth State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music education. She lives in Concord.

Two language teachers have joined the Weare district. Robyn French is teaching French and Catherine Chasse is teaching Spanish. French earned her degree at Roanoke College in Virginia and was the long-term substitute French teacher at Weare Middle School last year. She also taught French at John Stark Regional High School. She lives in Hillsboro.

Chris Beede joins the Weare district as a school counselor. Beede earned an master’s degree in school counseling from Capella University in Minnesota and a bachelor’s in psychology from Denison University in Ohio. He previously was a school counselor in Litchfield where he currently resides.

Stephen Canale is teaching math and comes to the district from Holy Family Academy, where he was teaching math and physics. Canale holds a master of science from UNH and a bachelor of science from the University of Massachusetts. He lives in Concord.

Catherine Chasse is the Spanish teacher for the district and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Chasse taught Spanish in Massachusetts and Rhode Island before moving to Weare.

Mandy Hibbert is a special education teacher. She has taught in the Claremont and Concord school districts. Hibbert holds her Teacher Certification and Master of Education from New England College. Her undergraduate degree is from Plymouth State University. She lives in Hillsboro.

Meaghan Kelley is a math interventionist. She comes to the Weare district with 10 years of teaching experience in Massachusetts. She earned her degree in education from Fitchburg State and now lives in Concord.

Andrea Long is the long-term substitute. She was a substitute teacher in the district last year. Long holds a master’s degree from Emerson College and a bachelor’s from Hastings College in Nebraska. She lives in Weare.

Amy Montanez is a math interventionist and has been teaching at Parker Academy in Concord. She earned both her undergraduate and master of education from New England College and lives in Washington.
