The University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team has cracked the Top 25 in the most recent edition of the United Soccer Coaches Poll, which was announced on Tuesday. The Wildcats are ranked No. 22 after starting the season 2-0-0 with a 1-0 home win against Boston University and a 2-1 road win at Providence.
UNH senior Chris Arling of Windham scored the game-winning goal of both those contests.
The Wildcats also announced on Tuesday that graduate student goalkeeper Alejandro Robles was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 1-0 season-opening win versus BU. Robles needed two saves to post the shutout.
UNH is back in action on Friday at Colgate in a rematch of the 2018 NCAA First Round game the Raiders won, 1-0, at Wildcat Stadium.
