Tony Fournier won his first New Hampshire Golf Association title on Wednesday, finishing 1 over par after two days and 36 holes to claim the 2019 New Hampshire Senior Championship at Cocheco Country Club in Dover.
Fournier, who plays out of Portsmouth Country Club, shot a 1-under-par 69 in Tuesday’s first round to take the lead. He kept it throughout the day on Wednesday, holding off Dan Arvanitis, who shot a 68 on Wednesday to finish in second place with a 143, and Mike Blair, who carded a 70 in the final round to finish third.
Bob Landry (Loudon Country Club) was fifth overall with a two-day score of 146. Landry, a former Merrimack Valley High golf coach, shot a 71 on Wednesday to finish in the top five.
