The reporting about Gov. Chris Sununu winning because his vetoes were not overturned is baffling. A win for whom? Certainly not New Hampshire citizens!
Replicating certain cohorts in the U.S. Congress, the lack of bravery and courage manifest by so many of our elected officials is dramatic and distressing. If you lose your next election – as so many increasingly believe you should – think about how your constituents have lost much more because you put political considerations before their needs.
Thank you to the representatives who voted to override and to the groups who demonstrated tirelessly. Thank you for speaking for those who could not be there. Thank you for caring.
