I am endorsing Gail Matson for Concord city councilor for Ward 8.
I am proud to know Gail, who is a proven leader and champion for our city. In her three terms on the council, she has worked on the Main Street revitalization project and chaired the Northern Pass subcommittee, never shying away from important, challenging issues. She keeps a keen eye on making Concord both financially livable and a wonderful place for people of all ages to live, a place of parks, pools, community centers and neighborly feelings. Her years in the insurance industry and working for the state have given her financial wisdom, which we need in challenging times.
As a state representative, I have reached out to her about city issues affecting residents, and she is always responsive. And importantly, she is a caring and compassionate resident of Ward 8.
I encourage you to support her and go to the polls on Nov. 5 and cast your ballot for Gail Matson, city councilor for Ward 8.
