Improv stars, the team from New Hampton School took home the trophies from the Winnipesaukee Playhouse Improv Olympics event on Sept. 21. New Hampton was among four teams from area nonprofits who together with Altrusa of Meredith, Friends of Meredith Library, and Prescott Farm raised more than $1,600 for their organizations.
Hosted by Fran Page, the audience enjoyed a full evening of entertaining comedy for good causes that is an annual event from Meredith’s popular year round playhouse. Other events and performance information can be found at winnipesaukeeplayhouse.org or 279-0333.
