Well, it looks clearly like socialism is the main course on the Democrats’ table for 2020. Has it ever worked anywhere as well as the capitalist, free-market American economy, you ask? Not by a long shot, plus it is not fairer by any measure and has a troubling history of resorting to totalitarianism in order for its advocates to stay in power when citizens become disenchanted with its inevitable failed promises.
Besides raising taxes, regulations, restrictions and chasing the fantasy that the “rich will pay for it,” what are they offering? Free, free, free – as if medical providers, educators and all the auxiliary service workers are going to work for free or settle for fixed wages. Would you?
Consider carefully what promises politicians are making, and when they tell us someone else will pay for it, look out. If it sounds too good to be true, well, you know.
