I created and co-authored a petition that called for Superintendent Terri Forsten and a Principal Tom Sica to be removed for not putting student safety first. According to the Department of Education Bureau of Credentials, Donna Palley, who was the assistant superintendent for eight years and is now the interim superintendent, lacks the Department of Education credentials for both positions. These rules are meant to be followed to ensure that administrators have the qualifications necessary to perform their duties. Rather than following the rules, she has chosen, for eight years, to ignore them. “Protect Concord Students Now” calls for Donna Palley’s resignation. She had eight years to obtain credentials and has not. If she does not do the right thing and resign, we call on the school board to terminate her position.
