TEAM (last week’s rank)

1. COE-BROWN BOYS’ X-C (1)  beat some of New England’s best on Saturday at an elite invitational in Manchester, Conn., to remain undefeated.

2. BOW FOOTBALL (2)  improved to 6-0 with Friday’s 45-14 win at MV despite missing star running back Steven Guerrette.

3. WINNISQUAM FOOTBALL (3)  sits in first place in Division IV at 5-0 and will face 3-2 Bishop Brady on Saturday in Tilton.

4. HOPKINTON GIRLS’ X-C (6)  finished second at Saturday’s Pelham Invitational, beating every school in the 10-team field except D-II Souhegan.

5. PEMBROKE GIRLS’ SOCCER (5) won its two games this week by a combined score of 16-1 to improve to 11-1-0, good for a second-place tie in D-II.

6. BOW GIRLS’ SOCCER (8) has won five straight, including two last week by a combined 9-0, to move to 11-1-0 and in a tie for second place in D-II.

7. HOPKINTON FIELD HOCKEY (RV) has posted four straight shutouts, and five straight wins, to take over first place in D-III at 12-1.

8. BOW GOLF (NR)  the defending D-III champs go into Tuesday’s championships with a 28-2 record, second only to Derryfield (30-0).

9. HOPKINTON GOLF (NR)  the defending D-IV champs go into Thursday’s championship tied with Littleton for the best record in the division at 18-2.

10. MERRIMACK VALLEY GIRLS’ X-C (NR) won a 9-team invitational on Friday with Sophia Rebenciuc and Sophia Reynolds finishing 1-2.
