A strong storm has dumped heavy rain and left more than 50,000 customers without power in New Hampshire.

About 100 school districts reported closings and delays Thursday morning due to no electricity or downed trees and powerlines. Rundlett Middle School in Concord was among the schools that canceled classes for the day. Other Concord district schools remained open.

The storm brought minor flooding and strong wind gusts up to 55 miles an hour. No injuries were reported.

The storm was moving out Thursday. Conditions are expected to be windy and cool Friday.
