Hillary Clinton has been listening to conspiracy theories and then publicly implying that Tulsi Gabbard is being groomed by the Russians. Shame on Hillary.
I just watched WMUR’s “Close-Up” interview with Tulsi Gabbard, and while it strikes me that Tulsi may be more of a Libertarian than a Democrat, she certainly isn’t a Russian plant. Hillary’s real concern is that Gabbard will become a third-party candidate and divide the Democrats if Gabbard loses the nomination. But it seems to me that Tulsi is receiving unfair treatment from the Democratic Party machine and its attempts to shut her out of the process.
Democrats today are not of one single mind but we are, as citizens, open to hearing what all these fine candidates have to say. The DNC needs to back off, give Tulsi and the other candidates a fair chance to be heard, and let the Democratic voters decide for themselves.
When all the candidates are treated fairly, there may be less motivation for any of them to run as a third-party candidate post-nomination. The DNC should let the Democratic voters decide who can defeat Donald Trump in 2020.
