Amidst all the negative press against Donna Palley of Concord to remain as the interim Concord school superintendent, I could not remain silent any longer. I am writing this letter to encourage the school district and her community to wholeheartedly support Palley in maintaining her position as acting superintendent and further to consider her as the most qualified superintendent replacement.
I have known Donna and her family for many years, and have known her to be nothing but professional in everything she undertakes. I have played fiddle with Donna with an informal gathering of weekly women fiddlers, Fiddle Gals, which meet almost weekly at her home.
Palley and her husband, Steve Scudder, have always been active in their church community at Temple Beth Jacob, often performing in the yearly production of Purim spiel. So much fun, and so much work and commitment on their part. Donna is so fully engaged in her communities. And her long history of working for the Concord School District’s Special Education Department is impeccable as well.
In a time of increased political division, let’s agree to unify at this level of leadership and support Donna Palley. I will not here address the number of appointees by various governors to powerful positions who are completely unqualified for the positions, including judicial judgeships.
Donna Palley is superbly qualified in my opinion. Let the facts speak for themselves.
